The new blog will be more personal, having had a look back on the last years worth of blogging, I have been amazed at all the things we have done, and places we have gone and things I had forgotten about. There is a certain element of the public blogging domain which leaves me uncomfortable, hence the going private. But it is by no means a deterrent from new followers or old to come on over and join me.

How far to save money?!

I love a bargain, but not even I would go this far!! Coupons aren't really something we have in the UK, you may come across one here and there for say 50p off something, hardly worth your while cutting it out most of the time. Still I thought this was interesting.

Marshmallow Fluff

Today I found this on my doorstep - marshmallow fluff, which is apparently an american import. I had to buy it from Amazon (for the Hummingbird whoopie pie recipes). And now I kinda wish I hadn't, because it is one of the best sweet treats I have ever tasted, and I can no longer not have it in my life!! Do not open it with a spoon in your hand.

I hear America doesn't have our chocolates - Galaxy, creme eggs etc, but now I'm convinced there is a whole load of hidden treats over there we haven't been introduced to either. Maybe one day I should take a trip over to check it out!
